Film Experiments in Color

EXPERIMENTS IN COLOR

It is no secret that I LOVE color and that I LOVE pushing the boundaries and experimenting creatively with film photography.  Basically, I do all this in an effort to make the photos evoke more emotion. The light streaks, the pink in the sky, these visual elements hit some nerve in me which make me happy and emotional. I can feel those colors. What do you feel?

If you would like to learn more about how I experiment in color, just sign up for a mentor session.

Some photos from my family summer vacation in 2017 where I used a variety of color experimenting techniques:

Wendy, this is genius. I remember seeing you do this on Instagram stories and being curious. Thanks for sharing what you did. It’s true, these images evoke emotion and the color, light leaks and imperfections just make me feel happy to look at. I am not sure I would be brave enough to try this with vacation images. You are so brave!
