I was surprised. I walk on Baldwin Beach all the time (my daughter is now going to high school on that side of the island) but I had never shot there.  What surprised me? The colors of the ocean and sky at the beach rendered on my film — so pretty!  What else surprised me? Two separate waves, taking out 2 separate cameras (since replaced, thank you insurance).  But it no surprise how much I love the film scans and how much the awesomeness of this family shown through.  Just one more favorite maui family photography session.
