Letters to My Daughters

Every month (well I try for every month) I participate in this blog circle of fellow mothers and photographers and share a letter to my daughters.  Next in the circle is Sarah Cornish of My Four Hens so go see hers after mine.

To Noelle,

You two are almost twins.. irish twins we call you. And “the girls”. Its hard to separate you out at times. Same swim, same dance classes, lots of the same friends and activities.

But don’t worry. You are not lost in the twinness of it all. I see you Noelle.

I see your Snoopy smile, and your dance, and your lightheartedness and true kindness. I see how easily frustrated you become and how creative you truly are.

You are smart and beautiful and funny and you light up a room. You. Just you.

Of course, your closeness to your sister Hannah is a wonderful gift you have been given. And Im glad for you two and at times jealous of your closeness and above all thankful for it.

But it doesn’t mean that I don’t see you for you alone.

I love you,
Mom
