Film Is Not Dead Haleiwa – Part 1//02/15/2013

Film Is Not Dead. Yes I am a huge fan.

I attended a FIND workshop (run by Jonathan Canlas in case you have no idea what Im talking about) back in 2010.. and it changed my business forever.  The way I shoot, what I shoot, and how much fun I have while shooting.

So when he came to Hawaii for another one, I had to just pop over and say hey to everyone and Jon and snuck in a little one on one time with Jon for a mentorship.  Like I said, I’m a fan.

And of course, I had to pop by the surf contest at Pipeline as well.

Some of my images from my too quick 30 hours on oahu — on a super voggy and humid day. Shot on my contax with kodak ektar film. You can buy prints here.
